Proposal for a new body structure scoring system for Nelore cattle
A new scoring system for body structure was developed for Nellore cattle, based on ideal slaughter weights to achieve the desired degrees of carcass fat coverage. The new body structure scores in Nellore appear reasonable, particularly in relation to body composition.
