Since 2012, a partnership has been established between the ITTR-CAR project and Aval Serviços Tecnológicas. This test takes place under the responsibility of Guzerá IT, owned by the Tonetto brothers, at Fazenda Perfeita União located in Pirajuí/SP. The brothers are traditionally known for producing top breeders and matrices that are functional, productive and adapted to Brazilian conditions. This project aims to evaluate animals of the Guzerá breed in the rearing phase, where they are tested for feed efficiency, that is, to identify animals that eat less and gain more weight with performance and carcass finishing, sexual precocity of finishing, precocity of deposition of fat in the carcass. It already has more than 300 male Guzerá animals evaluated.
